Officials believe the crime spree began shortly after 5:30 p.m. on 106th Street East near Pearblossom Highway. Five men in a gray Buick passed a Honda Civic The Honda Civic is a compact car manufactured by Honda. The Honda's 19-year-old driver, a Pearblossom man, and a 14-year-old passenger were not injured. They drove the injured Marine to a hospital, where he was treated and released.

About 90 minutes later, the same men and car were believed to have been involved in a shooting outside a house in the 16100 block of Coolwater Avenue in Lake Los Angeles.

``Witnesses saw several men arguing inside of a parked vehicle,'' said Deputy Paul Ullman. ``A short time later one of the men in the vehicle shot one of the other occupants.''

The deputy followed the car to 30th Street East and Avenue P, where he attempted to stop the vehicle with the assistance of other deputies.

When the car failed to yield, deputies pursued it. The Buick finally came to stop at a Palmdale trailer park at 65th Street East and Avenue R when it crashed into a parked truck.

``One of the suspects was arrested immediately,'' Ullman said. ``One fled into the trailer park and hid.''

Deputies set up a containment of the trailer park and found the second suspect hiding beneath a trailer. A weapon was recovered.
