2 BODIES FOUND; HOMICIDES SUSPECTED.

LANCASTER - Sheriff's detectives were investigating as homicides the deaths of two people whose bodies were found in separate incidents.

Neither person's name was released.

The first body was that of a woman found about 7 p.m. Tuesday in a field used as a storage yard near Avenue L-9 and Division Street, officials said.

The woman's name was not released pending the notification of relatives. She is believed to have been a 49-year-old Lancaster resident.

``The report says that it may have been a body dump and that the woman had head trauma,'' coroner's spokesman David Campbell David Campbell may refer to:

 said Wednesday. ``We still haven't done an examination yet, so the exact cause of death is still unknown.''

Sheriff's investigators said the property owner found the woman, who was fully clothed clothe
