The Festival of the Arts, or simply Festival is a three day arts festival in Grand Rapids held on the first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of June. , July 27-28, 2002. Both events provide local businesses the opportunity to network with the Fremont community showcasing their goods and services In economics, economic output is divided into physical goods and intangible services. Consumption of goods and services is assumed to produce utility (unless the "good" is a "bad"). It is often used when referring to a Goods and Services Tax. . Wine Garden guests have the opportunity to sample premium wine and vote in the wine-tasting competition. The winners earn the distinction as the wine of choice by the 2002 Fremont Festival of the Arts. Vintners, eager to share their wine expertise, present in The Wine Garden about tasting techniques and different wine varieties. Additionally, fine restaurants in the area are also invited to share their gourmet treats with guests. The Business Alley, a "members only" tradeshow within the Festival, provides Fremont Chamber members the exposure to a huge audience. There are approximately 50 Chamber members who will participate at this year's festival, including Bally Total Fitness Bally Total Fitness is an American health club chain with 400 gyms in 70 cities, and claims 4 million customers [1]. The chain has recently opened gyms in South Korea, China & the Bahamas. , Courtyard Marriott, Fremont Marriott, Kaiser Permanente-Fremont Medical Center and Kinko's. Business Alley is located along Beacon Street Beacon Street is a major thoroughfare in Boston, Massachusetts and several of its western suburbs. Beacon Street in Boston, Brookline, Brighton, and Newton is not to be confused with Beacon Street in nearby Somerville. and adds a new dimension for Festival attendees to purchase from local businesses. The Festival of the Arts is located on Paseo Padre Parkway, between Mowry and Walnut Avenues, one block from the Fremont BART station.
