1993 ROLEX USSRA NATIONAL SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIPS & S.L. GREEN CHAMPIONSHIPS: FINALS HELD TODAY AT PACIFIC ATHLETIC CLUB

 REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- After four days of intense competition involving more than 650 professional and amateur squash players from throughout the world, final round championship matches will be played today in the prestigious 1993 Rolex USSRA National Squash Championships (amateur) and $17,000 S.L. Green U.S. National Championships (professional). Final matches will be played today at the Pacific Athletic Club in Redwood City, beginning at 10 a.m. through early afternoon.
 Due to the record number of amateur and professional player entries (more than 150 players were wait-listed), this year's event is officially the largest squash tournament ever held in North America. Both championships are sponsored by Rolex Watch Company USA and the United States Squash Racquets Association.
 The finals of the S.L. Green Championships -- to be held at noon -- features two of the United States' very best squash players, Mark Talbot and Jeff Stanley. Talbot, a five-time American champion in hard-ball squash, is considered the greatest American squash player in history.
