Hooj, who released 136 tracks over 12 years, said on their website: ``We failed to react quickly or effectively enough to what was going on. In addition to his work as an artist, Berry is the head of Platipus Records. is also wonderful. The album wins for its fluffy tracks from Pob, Timo Maas, Union Jack and an excellent version of Madagascar from Art of Trance. It's a stand-out album that gets you sitting down. THE Rapture are oh, so cool at the moment, tipped by everyone to be the next big thing. The New York band's debut Echoes has house and punky guitars in a punch-up with the Happy Monday's, the Cure and the Strokes all getting a sly kick in. IF you buy one techno album this year it has to be Agoria's Blossom. Fresh and funky. It's techno done right. Look for a feature on the rising French star in 192 in the coming weeks. Singles IT takes a hard heart not to love Neon Heights balmy Listen to the Music. It's a joyful outpouring of quirky gospel-influenced loveliness that is the most positive sound heard in ages. DEFECTED have kept us waiting all summer for DJ Gregory Elle and Junior Jacks' E Samba. At long, long last we can get our hands on two of the summer's biggest and best tunes. l WHAT do you get if you put Phil Kieran, Agoria and an all-time classic together? A stonking update ofBig Fun by Inner City. TRANCEHEADS will also be poised for the Andain's Beautiful Things.
