17th Amendment issue will be addressed within this year: Naveed Qamar.ISLAMABAD, September 06, 2009 (Frontier Star): Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Syed Naveed Qamar has underlined that Constitutional Reforms Committee will resolve the issue regarding to repeal The Annulment or abrogation of a previously existing statute by the enactment of a later law that revokes the former law. The revocation of the law can either be done through an express repeal the 17th amendment with-in the ongoing year. Talking in a media program here Sunday, he stated that the incumbent Government has targeted to address the 17th amendment issue within this year and in this connection the Government has constituted a constitutional reforms committee.
