Rivera's money was missing when he was found dead early Nov. 10 by a person walking in an alley behind businesses in the 300 block of East Palmdale Boulevard.

An autopsy indicated he had been shot in the head.

Rivera had been staying in the Palmdale area and is believed to have been working on the Wal-Mart store being built in east Palmdale.

Witnesses linked the boy to Rivera's death, Graves said, but he would not comment further.
