17 arrests in louts crackdown.


SEVENTEEN people were arrested in a crackdown on anti-social behaviour.

The six-day initiative was carried out in the Caldmore and Palfrey pal·frey

During the operation three local women were arrested and charged for loitering and a 27-year-old man arrested and charged with criminal damage to a car.

A 45-year-old man was arrested and cautioned for possession of class C drugs and a 30-year-old man was arrested on warrant.

One offender, a 27-year-old local man, was arrested twice during the operation for breach of his bail conditions and is currently in custody.
