17 State signs Reynolds Securities.

Two new tenants - Thomas J. Reynolds Securities, Inc. and Cortese & Associates, Inc. - have leased new offices at Seventeen State Street, bringing to six the number of successful rental transactions concluded in the past four months, reports Vincent (Jim) Peters, president of V. J. Peters Associates L.P., exclusive leasing agent for the 42-story tower.

In addition, Peters announced that more than 100,000 square feet of space at Seventeen State is under active negotiation.

Both new tenants at Seventeen State represent corporate expansions and relocations from other well-known downtown addresses. Reynolds Securities, Inc. has relocated to Seventeen State from 50 Broadway, with the securities trading firm taking a five-year lease with options for 2,035 square feet on the 14th floor. V. J. Peters Associates L. P. represented both the tenant and the landlord.

Cortese & Associates, Inc., which is relocating to Seventeen State from Broad Financial Center, has leased 4,275 square feet on die 16th floor. Donna Billera of Helmsley-spear, Inc. represented the tenant on this 10-year lease.
