Mack-Cali Realty Corporation announced it has leased 16,788 square feet of office space for seven years to Hay Acquisition Company 1, Inc. at Harborside Financial Center Plaza 5 on the Jersey City waterfront.

Mitchell E. Hersh, chief executive officer of Mack-Cali, commented, "This lease is a demonstration of the positive momentum we've been seeing lately on the Jersey City waterfront.

"The reinstatement of the BEIP BEIP Business Employment Incentive Program (New Jersey)
BEIP Bucharest Early Intervention Project
 program and the return of downtown Manhattan PATH service have both helped to revive the interest in this attractive market."

Since September, Mack-Cali has announced leases at Harborside Plaza 5 totaling almost 80,800 square feet of office space, including 43,344 square feet with Moody's Investors Service Moody's Investors Service
