GREENVILLE, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 2003

Dennis Vick of Ernst & Young today announced that 24 finalists for the Carolinas' 2003 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) (EOY) awards have been selected from hundreds of nominations.

Winners will be announced on Thursday, June 26, 2003 at the recently inaugurated Westin Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina “Charlotte” redirects here. For other uses, see Charlotte (disambiguation).
Charlotte is the largest city in the state of North Carolina and the 20th largest city in the United States.

Jay Leno will serve as master of ceremonies for the evening. Neal Hunter of Cree, Inc. was named a national award recipient in the Technology category in 2002.
