An Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. Caesar Garcia's works will be performed in Dance Dimensions '98, a Celebration of Dance and Art at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. , 750 W. Lancaster Blvd.

Garcia's credits include work on the films ``Star Maps'' by director Miguel Arieta and ``Hollywood Punk Vampire Chicks on Welfare'' directed by Al Rodriguez.

``Garcia believes he has found a style of choreography he can call his own. Blending ballet, modern, funk, trash, hip-hop and different styles of jazz, Garcia strives to create pieces that are not only great to watch, but also a challenge to the dancers who embody the characters he creates,'' said AVC theater director Rick Roemer.

The ``Dance Dimensions'' concerts, led by AVC dance instructor Kathy Bingham, began in 1988 in the college's black-box theater.

Seven faculty members from AVC's fine arts and performing arts division are collaborating on this year's concert.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children under age 17. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at (805) 723-5950.
