16,000 s/f 'corporate row' space right fit for consultants.

Consulting firm Charles River Associates, Inc. has leased 16,570 s/f at 1155 Avenue of the Americas for a ten-year, seven-month term, according to The Durst Organization.

The firm, which is expanding, will move from 90 Park Avenue in the Spring.

"It is unusual for a tenant of this size to secure a full floor space on 'corporate row', as most floor plates in office towers in this area usually range from 40,000 to 60,000 square feet," says Tom Bow, senior vice president of leasing at The Durst Organization.

"This space is not only the right size, but it is also well configured to meet Charles River's needs, since the previous tenant was a law firm with a traditional office layout."

Founded in 1965, Charles River Associates, Inc., an economics, finance, and business consulting firm.

Mr. Bow and Eric Engelhardt, assistant vice president of leasing, represented the building owner. George Braun of Braun Associates, LLC handled negotiations on behalf of Charles River Associates.

"Both Tom and Eric had a keen sense of how to create efficiencies that were cost-effective for both Charles River Associates and The Durst Organization," says Mr. Braun.
