15th Biennial PJ Travelling Exhibition. (Photojournalism).The theme of this year's Travelling Biennial Exhibition was "The Golden Years: Life After 50." Closing date was in May 2002. The exhibition was chaired by Jeff Tamms, APSA APSA American Political Science Association APSA Airline Pilots' Security Alliance APSA American Pediatric Surgical Association APSA Asia and Pacific Seed Association APSA Asian Pacific Student Association APSA Australian Peak Shippers Association , of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, and the judges were Jerome Harders, E. Gene Newlin and Dr. Yong Ran Zhu, all of Wisconsin. There were 136 slides from 34 entrants and 72 prints from 18 entrants, with an average acceptance rate of 56%! Duplicates of the accepted slides and prints were shown at the PJ Division session in Pittsburgh. The winning entries were: PSA (Professional Services Automation) An information system designed to organize, track and manage all opportunities, work, resources, costs, revenues and invoices to improve the productivity and efficiency of the workforce. PSA Silver Medal for Second (slide) to Berndt Lindstaedt, PPSA PPSA Personal Property Security Act (Canada) PPSA Pulp and Paper Safety Association PPSA Power Plant Siting Act PPSA Philippine Practical Shooting Association PPSA Planned Parenthood of Southern Arizona (Germany) for "Runner 4906." PSA Silver Medal for Second (print) to Manfred Gsteu, FPSA, (Austria) for "Amilie and Louise." Photo Pictorialists of Milwaukee Medals for 3rd place to Walter Gaberthuel, Italy (slide) and to Franz Liebletsberger, Austria (print). Judges Choice Medals in Slides went to: Betty Jane Kranz-Sinclair, APSA, (USA); Russell Kriete, Hon. PSA, FPSA, (USA); and Keith Vaughan, FPSA, EPSA (Canada). Judges Choice Medals in Slides went to: Franz Liebletsberger (Austria); George L. Abbott (USA); and Susan Strong Muir (USA). Honorable Mention in Slides went to: Ian Davis-Young; Jean-Claude Bacle, EPSA (2); Guy Samoyault, APSA, EPSA; Walter Gaberthuel; Robert Jerome; Jane Kriete; FPSA; Carol J. Meisenheimer, APSA, PPSA; Thomas Moorhead, APSA; and Carl Soerens, APSA. Honorable Mention in Prints went to: Walter Kump, PPSA; Adrian Szasz; Dennis Corbin; Gordon L. Groff; Carol S. McCreary and Keith Vaughan, FPSA, EPSA. Acceptances in the PJ Travelling Exhibition count towards Star Rating and Who's Who. The next Travelling Exhibition will take place in 2004; the theme has not been established at the time of going to press, but was discussed at the PJ Division business meeting in Pittsburgh.
