15th Annual Lighting of the Chateau Friday, November 26; Santa's $91,000 Esperante Convertible Carriage Powered by 320 Horses.

WHAT:  The annual presentation of lights and animated scenes
       illuminating the buildings and grounds of Chateau Elan Winery &
       Resort plus an array of features including Santa Claus,
       theatrical and musical performances and a spectacular fireworks
       display mark the beginning of the Holiday Season at Chateau
       Elan. Santa Claus will arrive in a $91,000 hand built 320
       horsepower Esperante convertible.

       Among the scheduled feature attractions:

       Santa Claus, Carriage Rides, Pony Carousel Rides, Puppet Shows,
       Storyteller, Grinch, "Like the Dickens Carolers," Petting Zoo
       Giant Fire Truck Slide & Bouncy Castles, Kid's Christmas Crafts
       and Cookie Decorating, St Andrews Bay 9 hole Putt-Putt Golf,
       Holiday Shopper's Massage by Chateau Elan Spa staff, Food Court
       featuring fall holiday fare for kids and adults including candy
       and caramel apples, popcorn, chicken fingers, hot dogs, gumbo,
       pasta, lasagna, chili, fish & chips, pizza, Sheppards Pie, hot
       chocolate, and gingerbread cookies, Winery Tours & Tastings,
       Food & Wine Seminars, Fireworks.

WHEN:  Friday, November 26     3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
       Lighting of the Chateau about 6:45 p.m. followed by Fireworks

WHERE: Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is located just north of Atlanta
       in Braselton at exit 126 from I-85N

COST:  $5.00 per car fee paid at the entrance to Chateau Elan.  Some
       activities and foods require fees and booths are available for
       purchase of tickets. A portion of the proceeds from the
       Lighting of the Chateau will benefit "Eagles Ranch," a home for
       children in crises.
