The teams race with each member hanging on to the same 50-foot hose. At least three of the racers must be holding the hose when crossing the finish line. Every team will get two runs, with the best time qualifying. Last year's professional firefighter winners were from Scranton, while the volunteer winners were from Shawnee, Pennsylvania. Race Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the race begins at 11;30 a.m. Entry fee is $30 per person which includes a full day lift ticket, and awards ceremony following competition with lunch buffet, prizes and a raffle.
