Jones Lang LaSalle has represented the global law firm, Linklaters, in an extension and expansion of its lease for a total of 158,000 s/f of space at the 1.8 million s/f 1345 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan.

This additional commitment facilitates Linklaters' expansion in New York and the United States, enabling the firm to grow from 70 to 200 attorneys during the next several years.

The New York office of the law firm previously occupied 79,000 s/f at 1345 Avenue of the Americas, also known as the Alliance Capital Building.

Linklaters was represented in the transaction by Kenneth A. Siegel, managing director, with Jones Lang LaSalle's New York office. Fisher Brothers, the building owner, was represented in house.

Jones Lang LaSalle has represented Linklaters for seven years, securing several leases for the firm as it has grown to its current size, with occupancy on the 18th, 19th, 21st and 22nd floors of 1345 Avenue of the Americas.

Linklaters has additional flexibility to expand as the firm grows.
