150 million dollars from the world bank.

The World Bank is to allocate financial support of 150 million dollars to Macedonia by the end of this year. This was discussed by Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski and World Bank Managing Director Sri Mulyani Indrawati. 50 million dollars are intended for the realization of the second stage of the project for improvement of municipal services, whereas 100 million dollars for improvement of public sector reforms and enhancement of competitiveness. Stavreski and Mulyani Indrawati also referred to the necessity for increased use of IPA funds through World Bank support for Macedonian institutions in the preparation, design, implementation and monitoring of the IPA assistance.
