15-year-olds arrested after pub shooting.

THREE teenagers have been arrested following a shooting at a Croxteth pub.

A 33-year-old man was shot in the torso following the incident at the Lobster Hotel on Friday night.

Two 15-year-old boys from Croxteth were arrested on Saturday.

One has been charged with attempted kidnapping, while the other has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Detectives executed a warrant at a further address in Croxteth yesterday morning and arrested another 15-yearold male on suspicion of possession of ammunition.

He was last night being questioned by detectives.

At the same time, a fourth male, aged 22, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and ammunition, but not in relation to the shooting.

Officers were called to the Lobster, on Mossway in Croxteth, at 11.15pm on Friday to reports of a shooting.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance, and police now say his condition is stable.

No one else was injured during the incident, which it is believed was targeted although the motive remains unclear.

Detective Superintendent Paul Richardson said: "If anyone has information, but is worried about coming forward I'd like to reassure them that there are special measures that can be put in place to protect witnesses in serious cases such as this."
