15 women injured in cylinder blast in cosmetic factory.LAHORE, September 17, 2009 (Frontier Star): At least 15 women were injured as a result of the cylinder blast in Cosmetic factory in Daroghawala Baghban Pura PURA PACOM Utilization & Redistribution Agency PURA Public Utility Regulatory Act at Band Road in Lahore. Private media reports said that the incident took place on Thursday when a factory worker lit fire to prepare some chemical but all of sudden a leaked cylinder exploded with bigband. As a result 15 women sustained severe and minor burn injuries. The injured were shifted to Mayo and Jinnah Hospital in private vehicles. Three of the injured suffered severe burnt injuries have been reported in critical condition. Soon after the incident firefighters rushed the scene and doused the fire. It is said that there were about 150 women workers present in the factory at the moment.
