Under the direction of Mardi Rivetti, 15 contestants - students ranging in age from 17 to 23 - will be judged in four categories. They also will compete in swimsuit and formal wear contests, as well as in a speech contest. Judges also will rate them on personality and values disclosed in individual interviews. In a last round, each of eight finalists will answer questions about her community service.
