14-year Internet Marketing Veteran Larry Chase Publishes Top Insider Tactics for Increasing Website Traffic from Inbound Links.

Internet Marketing Publisher Releases 12 Best Tools, Tactics and Practices for Link Building

NEW YORK -- Internet Marketing expert and best-selling author, Larry Chase published his 12 best practices for increasing website traffic using inbound links, in his Web Digest For Marketers email newsletter ( http://www.wdfm.com ).

In his Internet insider publication (48,000 subscribers), Chase and his editorial staff picked the 12 best tools, tactics, and resources that they think will best help build website traffic via inbound links.

Chase explains why this is so important. "The advantages for having many focused and highly respected sites pointing to you are two-fold:

1. You obviously get increased traffic from those highly regarded sites.

2. You're more apt to come up higher in SERP's (Search Engine Results Pages) because the search engines will understand you are an 'authority site' in your industry due to all those inbound links."

Below are 3 of the 12 insider tactics that comprise Chase's link-building essentials:

Tactic #1 - Offer a Useful Tool or Widget Pronounced "wih-jit," for decades, the term has been a popular word for a generic "thing" when there is no real name for it. It is often used to describe examples of made-up products along with other fictitious names; for example, "10 widgets, 5 frabbits and 2 dingits. : An applet or tool that performs some kind of task or function, with your site's link embedded, will draw in hundreds or even thousands of links. It must be useful and offered for free.

Tactic #2 - Use Social Media Networks: Choose your social media networks carefully. Executing a social media strategy is time intensive. Be sure to evaluate whether your target audience is using the major social media sites or consider tapping into niche sites for your market.

Tactic #3 - Tag Your Content: Assign keyword tags to your content. This will make it easier for search engines and people to understand how you've organized your information.
