 - The southbound lane of the Antelope Valley Freeway The Antelope Valley Freeway is a freeway in Los Angeles and Kern counties in southern California. It is signed as California State Highway 14 along its length. It connects Greater Los Angeles to the rapidly developing Antelope Valley.  will be closed overnight tonight and Tuesday for a road improvement project.

The lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. between Escondido Canyon Road near Acton to Pearblossom Highway near Palmdale, weather permitting, said the California Department of Transportation The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is a government agency in the U.S. state of California. Its mission is to improve mobility across the state. It manages the state highway system and is actively involved with public transportation systems in California. .

Tonight, the lanes from Angeles Crest Highway The Angeles Crest Highway is a two-lane (one lane of travel in each direction) segment of California State Route 2 in the United States. The road is 66 miles in length, with its western terminus at the intersection at Foothill Boulevard in La CaƱada Flintridge and its eastern  to Sierra Highway will be closed and from Sierra Highway to Santiago Road overnight Tuesday.

Signs will be posted to assist motorists, but closures are subject to change.

This high occupancy vehicle lane improvement project is expected to be completed in January 2003.
