13 insurgents killed in Paktika, claims NATO.

More than a dozen Taliban fighters were killed during separate operations in southeastern Paktika province, the NATO-led force claimed on Monday.

) press office told Pajhwok Afghan News that the operations were launched yesterday in Barmal and Orgun districts of the province.

It said they were tipped off about a Taliban plan to attack border checkpoints in Marghai area of Barmal.
