13 deals keep business centers busy.

Totus Business Centers on Long Island's Route 110 corporate corridor, has leased 13 offices since the beginning of 2006 at its Melville, NY, facility at 105 Maxess Rd.

Among the new tenants in the 50-unit Totus suite are several businesses new to Long Island, including two leading mortgage banking companies.

Miamisburg, Ohio-based National City Mortgage, a unit of National City Corp., a Cleveland-based banking company with some $53 billion in assets, leased six offices.

Also, Irvine, Calif.-based mortgage bankers People's Choice Home Loan, one of the fastest growing mortgage lenders in the United States, leased four offices.

Nautilus Consulting LLC, a construction advisory firm, leased two offices and FuelCell Energy, Inc., a leading manufacturer of stationary fuel cell power plants for distributed generation based in Danbury, CT, also leased an office.

Totus also operates a 50-unit business center at 330 S. Services Rd., Melville, which is fully leased and offers a rapidly growing virtual identity program, offering home-based businesses and others, a prestigious Long Island address for mail and telephone services.
