13 SEATS TO BE FILLED ON BOARD OF TRADE.

PALMDALE - Thirteen seats are up for election on the Antelope Valley Board of Trade's board of directors.

Ballots must be received in the board's office by 5 p.m. next Monday. Winners are expected to be announced To be announced (TBA)

Nominees include R. Gregg Anderson of Rancho Vista Development Co., Bret Banks of the Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District, Ingrid Chapman of Chapman Communications, David Charlton of Credit Management Systems, Dave Christensen of The Gas Co. and Alis Clausen of Southern California Edison Southern California Edison (or SCE Corp), the largest subsidiary of Edison International (NYSE: EIX), is the primary electricity supply company for much of Southern California. It provides 11 million people with electricity.  Co.; John Currado of Allstate Insurance-Currado.

Other nominees are Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties.  President Jackie Fisher, Robin Kessler, Aida O'Connor of Hanford Home Loans, R. Jared Pearce of Total Communications, George ``Bud'' Reams REAMS Resource Evaluation And Management System  of Monte Vista Building Sites, Chris Spicher of Antelope Valley Florist, Cecil Swetland of Desert Christian Schools, David Vierra of the Antelope Valley Union High School District The Antelope Valley Union High School District (A.V.U.H.S.D.) is located in the Antelope Valley area of California, in northern Los Angeles County.

The district includes eight public high schools, one trade school, and two continuation high schools in the cities of Palmdale
 and Bart York of California Portland Cement.

Anderson, Banks, Christensen, Clausen, Fisher, Kessler, O'Connor, Reams, Spicher and Vierra are incumbents.

Also at the April 26 meeting, AVBOT President Lew Stults will give the State of our Organization address.
