12 new additional judges of Lahore High Court sworn in.
LAHORE, September 15, 2009 (Frontier Star): 12 newly appointed additional judges of Lahore High Court The Lahore High Court is based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Lahore High Court was established on March 21, 1919. The Lahore High Court has such jurisdiction as is conferred on them by the Constitution or by law (Art. 175(2) of the 1973 Constitution). on Tuesday took oath of their offices here at High court premises. Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Khawaja Mohammad Sharif administrated oath to the newly appointed judges in a simple but dignified ceremony attended by senior lawyers, President Lahore Bar associations and judges of Lahore court. Those who took oath as Additional judges of Lahore Court are Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Sheikh Najam-ul-Hassan, Manzoor Ahmed Malik, Asad Munir, Ijaz-ul-Ahsan, Hafiz Hafiz (häfēz`) [Arab.,=one who has memorized the Qur'an], 1319–1389?, Persian lyric poet, b. Shiraz. His original name was Shams al-Din Muhammad. He acquired the surname from having memorized the Qur'an at an early age. Abdul Rehman Ansari, Tariq Javed, Sardar Sardar, in some senses also Sirdar (Persian: سردار ) (Sardār Tariq Masood, Nasir Saeed Sheikh, Mansoor Akbar Kokab, Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmed and Sagheer Ahmed Qadri. Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Sheikh Najam-ul-Hassan, Manzoor Ahmed Malik, Asad Munir, Ijaz-ul-Ahsan, Hafiz Abdul Rehman Ansari, Tariq Javed were practicing lawyers in Lahore while Sardar Tariq Masood, Nasir Saeed Sheikh were practicing lawyers in Rawalpindi and Mansoor Akbar Kokab, Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmed and Sagheer Ahmed Qadri were additional district and session judge. As a consequence of the July 31 Supreme court judgment, the President had unseated 34 judges from the LHC LHC Large Hadron Collider
