Faced with new competition and an economic downturn, Loma Negra moved to protect its market position by modernizing its supply chain. i2 provided a total, fully integrated solution to improve the quality and the frequency of the demand forecast, and Loma Negra's ability to profitably and timely meet and fulfill the forecasted demand through holistic planning and execution across all supply chain constituents (production, logistic and distribution centers, carriers, etc.). Implemented over 11 months, the project was the first of its kind in Argentina and one of the largest in Latin America.
