118 years old and getting better with age.


In Rubber World's 118 years of continuous publication there have been many noteworthy milestones along the way. Most of them occurred in the time since we passed the century mark with the October 1989 issue. Little did we know then how much technology and innovation would change our industry over the next 18 years. Rubber World would go from the 12 issues a year produced during the first 100 years to adding four issues of the Product News, acquisition of the Rubber Red Book, the CD-ROM CD-ROM: see compact disc.

The announcement that Rubber World will in addition to its print magazine begin publishing a free digital version on its website http://www.rubberworld.com may prove to be the most important change in expanding our reach to all potential readers throughout the global robber industry.

The technology is here now to present Rubber World in a very readable read·a·ble
