115 New ATMs Are Right Prescription for Chase Customers in Colorado.

Walgreens ATMs double Chase's network in the state

DENVER -- Chase announced today it is putting its distinctive blue octagon logo in every Walgreens drugstore in Colorado by adding 115 Chase ATMs statewide as the exclusive ATM provider for Walgreens stores in the state.

The move will increase Chase's Colorado network to 216 ATMs, giving customers free access to more than twice as many machines. With the expansion, Chase will have the most ATM locations of any bank in the state.

Chase, which has 101 ATMs in Colorado today, is beginning installation in November and complete them in early 2007.

"We are teaming up with Colorado's leading drugstore to create 115 more ways to serve our customers," said Steve Shaffer, retail banking manager for Chase in Colorado. "Both Chase and Walgreens know how important convenience is to our customers."

The additional ATMs complement Chase's network of 78 branches, including 10 branches that have been opened in 2006. By 2008, Chase will have 100 locations along the Front Range.

Chase is adding ATMs in the following markets:

* Denver, 75 ATMs

* Colorado Springs Colorado Springs, city (1990 pop. 281,140), seat of El Paso co., central Colo., on Monument and Fountain creeks, at the foot of Pikes Peak; inc. 1886. It is a year-round resort and a booming military, technological, and commercial city. , 21

* Northern Colorado, 15

The additional Colorado ATMs expand Chase's long-standing relationship with Walgreens. Earlier this year, Chase added ATMs at 300 Walgreens stores in Florida, and in 2005 it added ATMs at 220 Walgreens stores in Arizona. By yearend 2006, Chase expects to have ATMs in 1,400 Walgreens stores in seven states.
