PLEASURE & PAIN arrives on the wings of "U Already Know," this year's hottest blue-light-in-the-basement hit, co-written by 112 and co-produced by Sean Garrett and Focus. The song rises to #16-bullet on R&R's Urban chart and #17-bullet on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Monitor; and also jumps to #37-bullet on the R&R Rhythmic chart. The video, after 18 plays on BET last week, is the Most Requested clip on 106 & Park.

"Today, there is so much negativity in music," says 112's Mike Keith. "People are talking about killing, violence and pain; with all of that in the world, 112 is still all about love."

The follow up to Hot & Wet, 112's Def Soul debut of 2003, PLEASURE & PAIN features guest appearances by Jermaine Dupri (on "The Way," which he co-produced and co-wrote); T.I. ("If I Hit," produced by Mario Winans), and Three 6 Mafia Three 6 Mafia (formerly known as Triple Six Mafia) is an American hip hop group, consisting of two members. The group was formed in 1991 by DJ Paul, Lord Infamous, and Juicy J. They were later joined by fellow Memphis rappers Koopsta Knicca, Gangsta Boo, and Crunchy Black.  ("Closing The Club"). In addition to Dupri (who also worked on "Nowhere") and Winans (who also worked on "Last To Know"), other guest producer/writers include the Trackboys ("My Mistakes"), Ken 'K-Fam' Fambro ("Why Can't We Get Along"), and the team of Warryn 'Baby Dubb' Campbell and Harold Lilly ("That's How Close We Are"). The bulk of the album's 15 tracks were co-written and produced by 112's Daron Jones ("Intro," "Let This Go," "Damn," "I'm Sorry," "We Goin' Be Alright," "What the Hell Do You Want," and "God Knows."

"The main thing was to get our focus back," Daron says of 112's triumphant new album. "The four of us got together and you could feel our competitive edge coming back. 112 is not like any other R&B group, and we shed blood, sweat and tears making PLEASURE & PAIN to prove it."
