11-2 the field for Jacket gold.

Byline: JONATHAN KAY

SPONSORS Ladbrokes cannot split four hopefuls on the 11-2 mark at the head of the Golden Jacket field, the acceptors for which were revealed yesterday, ahead of tomorrow's draw for Monday's first round of the pounds 12,500 Category One competition.

Double Take, who dipped inside Centour Corker's year-old track record for the 714m Jacket course and distance when posting 44.70sec (+60) in a pre-meeting trial on Monday, is joined on that mark by Droopys Destiny, Latin Beauty and Shebas Magic.

Latin Beauty, unbeaten in five races at Crayford including all three rounds of the Kent St Leger last October - a competition she stands to lose after testing positive at the semi-final stage - was given a refresher of the circuit when posting 23.21sec (+30) in a 380m trial yesterday.

"We know she loves the track, but her last race was at Sittingbourne so it seemed worthwhile giving her a quick look round again," explained Tony Collett, assistant and partner of the bitch's trainer, Cheryl Miller Cheryl Miller (born on January 3, 1964 in Riverside, California) is a former college basketball player and coach. Her superior athletic ability and engaging personality made her an elite figure in sports. .

Meanwhile, owner-trainer Barrie Birch birch, common name for some members of the Betulaceae, a family of deciduous trees or shrubs bearing male and female flowers on separate plants, widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere.  was left breathing a sigh of relief that his prolific winner Weeton Warrior was accepted into the competition despite an intended requalifying trial last Monday - he had been withdrawn from a trial stakes the previous week - being declared void.

"He finished second to Creamery Euro over 380m and I was pleased with him as he seemed to handle the track quite well," said Preston-based Birch yesterday. "Then it emerged that Creamery Euro had run from the wrong trap so the trial was called void.

"I spoke to Crayford about it and they said I'd better get another trial to requalify him again and, thankfully, I had one booked for another greyhound greyhound, breed of tall, swift, sight hound developed nearly 5,000 years ago in Egypt. It stands about 26 in. (66 cm) high at the shoulder and weighs about 65 lb (29.5 kg).  at Kinsley this Saturday, so he can now have that instead.

"Actually, it won't do him any harm because he likes a lot of work and he has had a look round Crayford now even if it didn't count!"

Weeton Warrior is rated a

20-1 chance for Jacket glory with the sponsors, who will be revising prices immediately after the trap draw tomorrow which can be heard on `Ladbrokes Live' in their betting shops from 10.20am.

The draw will be made by the Racing Post's Jonathan Hobbs and overseen by Crayford's assistant racing manager Danny Rayment. Ladbrokes Live's hosts for the morning in the studio will be Dan Roebuck and Alex Steedman.

The first three in each of Monday's six heats qualify for the semi-finals to be run at the BAGS meeting on Saturday morning, February 21.

The first two in those go forward to the final, also on BAGS, on Saturday morning, February 28.
