, October 14, 2009 (Balochistan Times): 11 militants were killed while several others injured in the bombardment of jet planes in different areas of South Waziristan South Waziristan (Urdu: جنوبی وزیرستان) is the southern part of Waziristan, a mountainous region of northwest Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan and covering some 11 585 km² (4,473 mi²). .
