11 Sabarimala pilgrims killed as bus falls into gorge in Kerala.Byline: ANI Kottayam (Kerala), Feb 17 (ANI): Eleven Sabarimala pilgrims were killed and 40 others injured when a bus fell into a gorge near Erumeli town in Kerala's Kottayam District in the wee hours on Tuesday. The victims were on their way to the Sabarimala hill shrine when the bus carrying 60 pilgrims slipped into a 50-foot gorge while it was passing the narrow Pampa Pampa (păm`pə), city (1990 pop. 19,959), seat of Gray co., extreme N Tex. This cow town on the Panhandle plains still ships cattle and wheat and packs meat, but the discovery of oil and gas has made it an industrial center with refineries and Valley road. All victims are hailing from Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari District West Godavari (పశ్చిమ గోదావరి) is a district in Andhra Pradesh in India. The headquarters is the town of Eluru. The district had a population of 3,803,517 of which 9.74% were urban as of 2001. . The injured are undergoing treatment at the Medical College Hospital in Kottayam and Taluk Hospital in Kanjirapally. The Kerala Government has announced a solatium to the kins of the pilgrims.
