11 NEW THOROUGHBRED HORSERACING INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP
 OFFERED BY DIMET INTERNATIONAL
BALTIMORE, Md., Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- DIMET INTERNATIONAL, INC., Baltimore, is offering 11 new $500,000 (each) racing partnerships with yearlings from Allen Paulson's BROOKSIDE FARMS, Lexington, Ky.
Each partnership will have 3 thoroughbreds and will include one or more yearlings produced by Theatrical or Strawberry Road from BROOKSIDE FARMS. The horses will be trained both in the United States by John Parisella (trainer to the stars) and in Europe by Dermot Weld (nine Royal Ascot winners).
Theatrical is an Eclipse Award Winner and a Breeders' Cup Champion. In 1987, he had six grade 1 victories and retired with career earnings of over $2.9 million.
Theatrical's yearlings have been well received. He was the leading first crop sire at the 1990 Select Summer Sales where his yearlings averaged $213,750. He has also sired seven black type winners, including Golden Treat, who earned $329,963 with a victory and a second place in Grade 1 events; Misako Togo, grade III Irish Stakes winner and Mendocino, French Stakes winner. Theatrical is also represented by Marchand de Sable, whose 1992 earnings in France total $120,714.
Strawberry Road is by Whiskey Road, winner in Ireland, and sire of stakes winners -- JUST A DASH, CIMARRA, WHISKED, SCOTCH AND DRY, TENNESSEE VAIN, BRONZE SPIRIT, MAR WONG, STRAWBERRY FAIR, WHISLEY LOVER, SLIGHTLY PINK, RIVER ROAD, DREAM LODGE, ROCKETS GALORE, DINARD, FOWDA, FRAISE AND BERRY ROAD.
From his first two crops, 86 percent were money earners, over $1 million in progeny earnings and his first starters averaged $48,724 in earnings. Champion in Europe and Horse of the Year in Australia, this grandson of Nijinsky II won 17 races from 5 1/2 furlongs to 1 1/2 miles, six grade/group 1 races and earned $1,713,958.
Brookside Farms is America's best breeding operation and produces about 125 thoroughbreds each year under the direction of Allen Paulson. Paulson has afforded the opportunity to DIMET to make its own selections and purchase this group of outstanding yearlings. DIMET will be offering these yearlings to selected investors in the partnerships.
The 1992 Breeders' Cup will feature four Paulson entries including Arazi, Fraise, Eliza and Fowda. Both Fraise and Fowda are the progeny of Strawberry Road.
The premiere of these partnerships is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30, 1992, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, 19999 West Country Club Drive, Aventura, Fla. (North Miami). Speakers will include:
