More than 100 students, faculty advisors, industry leaders and TAPPI staff were on hand. Several schools sent groups of students who "road-tripped" to South Carolina South Carolina, state of the SE United States. These codes vary from the more or less flexible laws of social usage (differing according to local customs or taboos) to the rigid conventions of court and military circles, and they and transitioning from school to work. The opportunity to network with industry professionals, the "engaging and relevant" educational sessions and the engineering competition were listed as students' favorite aspects of the event.
