MATHCOUNTS Competition at Georgetown High School (9th Grade Campus) this Saturday, Nov. 13, from 8am until 3pm. Each of the young men has participated in MATHCOUNTS, and founder Michael Rothenberg was a member of the national silver medalist team in 1998. "These young men gained a number of skills and friendships through MATHCOUNTS while in middle school. They wanted to continue to pursue their interests in mathematics, but more importantly to establish a way for others to get involved as well," said Trisha Rothenberg, mother of founder Michael Rothenberg. This Saturday's mock competition is expected to draw over 130 student participants as well as more than 25 educators and coaches.
