), announced today that tickets for L.A.'s hugely popular live music festival Wango Tango Wango Tango is an annual day-long concert produced on by KIIS-FM [1] radio station in Los Angeles. The concert series has been staged at various venues around southern California including Doger Stadium, the Rose Bowl and Angels Stadium in Anaheim.  will be exclusively available through Tickets.com.

As part of the new agreement, Tickets.com will be the exclusive -- online and offline -- ticketing provider for the event, which last year saw a sell-out crowd of more than 50,000 fans jam Dodger Stadium to hear acts like Ricky Martin, Will Smith, Britney Spears, Blondie and 98 Degrees.

Wango Tango, now in its fourth year, is an established, high-profile event that will this year once again feature an eclectic mix of top bands and performers. The list of this year's performers will be announced at a media conference later this month.

Because consumer demand for the event is expected to exceed the supply of tickets, Tickets.com is utilizing its proprietary online "Virtual Wristband" technology so that fans can pre-register for tickets up to 13 days prior to the official "on-sale" date. The subsequent random selection of a starting "number" for consumers who have a Virtual Wristband will provide all registered online ticket buyers an equal chance of obtaining a ticket.

"Wango Tango is one of the most exciting live music events in Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region, . Our partnership with the KIIS-FM team, the leading radio station in L.A., provides great synergies between our business models, and will provide fans the opportunity to get tickets to one of this year's hottest shows wherever they want to buy them, including online," said W. Thomas Gimple, co-chairman and chief executive officer of Tickets.com.

"We're excited about bringing tickets to Wango Tango fans and demonstrating the power of the relationship between radio station promoted events and Tickets.com."

Roy Laughlin, president and general manager of 102.7 KIIS-FM, commented, "Our Wango Tango 2000 team of the Dodgers, KIIS-FM, Pepsi, Vidnet.com and The Rio Hotel and Casino selected Tickets.com because they are committed to changing the way tickets are bought and sold on the Web, and are making it easier for fans to get access to tickets to popular events."

Details of the Virtual Wristband registration period, as well as the general on-sale information and the artist line-up for this year's Wango Tango, will be announced by 102.7 KIIS-FM next week.

Wango Tango will again be held at Dodger Stadium, which seats more than 50,000 people. Prices for the tickets will range from $35 to $95.
