100th INBONE(TM) Total Ankle Implanted.

BERKELEY, Calif. -- INBONE Technologies, Inc. announced today the completion of its 100th total ankle implantation by John Gould, M.D., at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. The INBONE(TM) Total Ankle was first used externally eight months ago, by surgeons such as Dr. James DeOrio. Dr. DeOrio, formerly of the Mayo Clinic and now at Duke University, is the system's most prolific user, and was recently named the head of the INBONE Technologies Surgical Advisory Board.

The INBONE(TM) Total Ankle is the subject of much attention due to its unique design and installation system. It is the only TAR with an intramedullary alignment system designed to ensure precise installation with every surgery. It is also the only TAR with a modular stem system offering superior intramedullary anchoring, patient customization and the ability to correct varus/valgus deformities.
