100 dogs to have their day.


ONE hundred dogs are expected to gather this weekend for a sponsored walk to raise funds for victims of serious illnesses.

Dubbed Paws for a Cause, Sunday's event will raise money for North East charity St Cuthbert's St Cuthberts Catholic Community College of Business and enterprise is a high school situated in St Helens, Merseyside, England. It has been named one of the best high schools in St Helens and has over 900 students.  Hospice.

Kicking off at 10.30am, the walk will begin and end at Chester-le-Street's Riverside Sports Pavilion.

Registration is pounds 10 per dog, and all participants will receive a doggy bag filled with treats.

Rachel Jobson, a fundraiser at the hospice, said: "We are hoping for a beautiful Autumn day on the riverside at Chester-le-Street, but the event will go ahead even if it's raining cats and dogs Cats and Dogs

In a bull market analysts will often mention that everything is going up, even the cats and dogs.

"Most owners are used to walking their dogs throughout the year whatever the weather, so we are certain that this will be a great family day out come rain or shine."

Among those taking part this year are TV presenter Phillipa Tomson with her Tibetan Terrier Tibetan terrier, breed of medium-sized dog originating in Tibet probably several thousand years ago. It stands from 14 to 16 in. (35.6–40.6 cm) high at the shoulder and weighs from 15 to 30 lb (6.8–13.6 kg).  BG, as well as a pair of police dogs.
