More than 100 people joined in the search for a missing Oak View girl Wednesday.

Kali Mannley, 14, was last seen Saturday evening in the Oak View area at a friend's house, said Kim Garrett, a senior deputy with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department The Ventura County Sheriff's Department (VCSD) provides law enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Ventura County, California, USA, as well as several cities within the county. The cities that VCSD serves are Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, and Thousand Oaks. .

Kali left the home and was supposed to contact her family, but never did. Her family reported her missing on Sunday, and deputies began their investigation by contacting her friends and acquaintances.

``Once we exhausted our leads in town, a search was called, and the helicopters went up,'' said Ed Tumbleson, a senior deputy.
