10-YEAR RIVER RALLY PLANNED SATURDAY.

SANTA CLARITA Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Residents who would like to help preserve the river's natural beauty will gather near the Wiley Canyon Bridge just east of Orchard Village Road in Valencia. Gloves and collection bags will be provided for all volunteers.

To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the rally, a T-shirt design contest was held and the winning design will be displayed on T-shirts that will be given out to volunteers Saturday.
