10 teeny-tiny ways you can make a major difference in the world! Little efforts add up to BIG results. Here are 10 wags to help make the world a cleaner and greener place--without even trying very hard.

1 Turn heads at the spring dance in a one-of-a-kind vintage dress. Hello, cheap, chic and green!

2 Save your gum wrapper. When you're done, stick the piece back in the wrapper--not a new sheet of paper--and toss it in the wastebasket. Do not spit it out into the grass or the side of the road. And do not stick it under your desk. We're not naming names or anything ... but you know who you are!

3 Spare a square--or two for that matter.

4 Just say no to plastic bags. Instead, drop your just-purchased watermelon gum and Vitamin Water straight into your bag. You've got room in there.

5 Sick of your purse? Hold a purse swap at your next girls' night in.

9 Win the war with your inner beauty-product-tryer-outer. You know, the part of you that wants to bun every lotion, each new lip gloss and all the eye shadows In the world before you're even an eighth of the wan through the old stuff. instead, enjoy the products you've got until they're gone, recycle the empty containers, and then try out new goodies.
