10 Local Non-Profits Selected to Compete for $10,000 Cash and Pro Bono Service; BrownFlynn's 'Circle of 10' Rewards Creativity in Attracting the Next Generation of Supporters.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Ten non-profit organizations were selected as BrownFlynn's Circle of 10 based on the ingenious ways they will use to attract the next generation of supporters and will compete for community contributions. The finalists rose to the top of 63 proposals that represented diversity in their ideas and their missions.

The organizations were chosen by an independent review panel. Over the next seven months, they will compete for community support by collecting the most pledges through www.brownflynn.com and meeting other contest criteria. The winner will receive a $10,000 donation and $10,000 in pro bono service from BrownFlynn, the Highland Heights-based community relationship management firm. The nine runners up receive $2,000 in professional graphic design services from SCK SCK - Serial Clan Killers (gaming clan)
SCK - Sport Club Kriens (Switzerland)
SCK - Studiecentrum voor Kernenergie (Belgium)
. All 10 finalists receive a two-minute professional video from Glazen Creative Studios.

The 10 finalists are:

--Artists Archives of the Western Reserve

--Consortium of African American Organizations

--Cleveland Bridge Builders

--Cleveland Public Art

--Entrepreneurs for Sustainability

--The Littlest Heroes

--Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland (MOCA)

--Nature Center at Shaker Lakes

--ParkWorks

--Shoes and Clothes for Kids

"Our panel selected these organizations based on the creative ways they're working to build relationships with the next generation of supporters," said Barbara Brown, principal and co-owner of BrownFlynn. "For these organizations to thrive and deliver their vital services in Northeast Ohio, it is critical that they think about ways to engage these supporters and sustain those relationships over the long term."

BrownFlynn launched the contest in January to celebrate the firm's 10-year anniversary. The firm and its community partners in Circle of 10 -- Corporate College, SCK, The Plain Dealer, Cleveland.com, and Glazen Creative Studios - will help promote Circle of 10 finalists and leverage the contest to generate financial support. The Cleveland Foundation is also a community partner.
