It may provide a general or very detailed specification of the system. 1. (business) RFP - Request for Proposal. 2. ) for industrial development on 10 city-owned vacant sites in Brooldyn and the Bronx. The properties for sale range in size from about 2,280 to 317,890 SF, for a total of almost 600,000 SE All the sites are zoned for light industrial uses. Six of the sites are in the East New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of In-Place Industrial Park, Brooklyn; another Brooklyn site is in the Saratoga Square Urban Renewal area. The Bronx sites include two in the Zerega Industrial Park and another on Brush Avenue. NYCEDC has been working with the New York Industrial Retention Network (NYIRN NYIRN New York Industrial Retention Network (not-profit dedicated to retaining manufacturing jobs in New York City) ), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the city's manufacturing sector, to identify interested parties. NYCEDC will consider only proposals from industrial firms or developers committed to the development and maintenance of rental space for industrial manufacturing or distribution companies. Proposals for retail or non-industrial uses will not be accepted. NYCEDC will evaluate proposals for the various sites based on a number of criteria including economic return to the City, financial feasibility of the project, and the company's or developer's qualifications. Proposals may be submitted for one or any combination of sites. Proposals are due by 4p.m. on Aug. 20. Interested parties can contact NYEDC for details. |
