Passengers now can order a taxi ride anywhere in the United States, simply by using their handheld device with the OmniSky service, and will receive a real-time confirmation of their order. Together, OmniSky and 1-800-TAXICAB offer a ground transportation solution for wirelessly-enabled handheld devices that puts mobile individuals instantly in touch with a nationwide network of taxis, sedans, airport shuttles, and limousines.

The 1-800-TAXICAB network includes the ground transportation industry's most prominent players, including Coach USA, which is North America's largest taxi concern.
