1 million trees for southern California.


Infinity Broadcasting and American Forests American Forests is a nonprofit conservation organization that promotes healthy forests and urban tree planting.

The organization was established in 1875 as the American Forestry Association, by physician/horticulturist John Aston Warder and a group of like-minded citizens
 hope to raise $500,000 during the month of October to plant 1 million trees in wildfire-ravaged southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region, . During October, Infinity's eight radio stations in Los Angeles <noinclude> List of radio stations in the Los Angeles/Orange County market (Arbitron #2):

, San Diego, and Riverside will broadcast public service announcements that encourage listeners to contribute to AMERICAN FORESTS' Wildfire ReLeaf campaign.

AMERICAN FORESTS created California Wildfire ReLeaf in 2003 in response to an outpouring of concern from California residents and people across the United States. The series of large fires that burned across southern California destroyed more than 1,900 homes and over 500,000 acres.
