1 Source Consulting, Inc., Announces 7 Year, $1 Billion Award from Department of Energy.

WASHINGTON -- 1 Source Consulting, Inc. (1 Source) announced today a $1 billion Department of Energy (DOE) Information Technology Support Services A-76 contract to provide mission-critical information technology support to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). DOE made the award to Energy Enterprise Solutions, LLC (EES), a small business joint venture. 1 Source is the majority owner of EES. The expected contract will be a consolidation of several existing and related IT contracts. This will be the largest federal information technology services contracts ever awarded to small business.

EES was formed as part of an SBA-certified Mentor-Protege agreement between majority-owner 1 Source Consulting, Inc. and RS Information Systems. In conjunction with the DOE federal IT workforce, this single integrated federal/contractor solution, also known as "Team DOE," will be committed to providing simple access, effective management, strengthened security, and improved performance by delivering services on time and with exemplary quality throughout DOE, its federal stakeholder communities, and the American public.

1 Source will support a wide range of information technology support areas including capital planning, strategic planning, enterprise architecture, cyber-security, telecommunications, network infrastructure, systems design and engineering, help desk support, software applications, and Web design.
