Police also announced the arrest of a 17-year-old - who was not identified because he is a minor - in the Friday night slaying of Matthew Yuhasz, 17, of Sylmar.

Yuhasz was shot three times after he reportedly insulted another teenager's girlfriend during a birthday party in the 9500 block of Noble Avenue in North Hills, said Detective Mike Oppelt.

The suspect was arrested several hours later at a friend's North Hollywood residence. He faces a hearing this week to determine whether he'll be tried as an adult or a juvenile, officials said.
