 that a caravan varying 1,659 families comprising 11,613 persons left for Mingora on Sunday. Giving the details of the transport arrangements made by the provincial government, he said that 659 families were commuted through the official transport while 1,000 families, living with their relatives out of camps arranged their own transport to get back to their native areas. Federal Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmad Shaikh Ghulam Ahmad (23 May, 1923-20 September, 2003) formed Resources Company Ltd., a holding company that promotes resource development in Pakistan. He was Managing Director and former chairman of Pakistan Chrome Mines Ltd.  Bilour was also present on the occasion and seen off the affected families caravan for Swat. Aurakzai said that the government wished to arrange transport facilities for return back of all IDPs families however due to some problems it was not immediately possible and the IDPs families which were cognizant for early return to their native lands arranged private transport and left the camp. He said that all efforts were being made to facilitate the IDPs families returning back and besides pledges Rs. 25000 a month ration was also provided to them. He said that life in Swat was coming to normal as security forces have cleared most of the area of militants and it was hoped that displaced persons residing in various IDPs camps and other places across the country would return back and lead and willing life their.
